Who is eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame? To be eligible for induction into the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame, the individual must be a native of Michigan's upper peninsula or have accomplished his or her feats related to athletic sports while residing in the upper peninsula. Ten inductees are chosen annually, three of which are deceased or qualify for the pre-1960 category.
