Ben Manning - Class of 1989

a town baseball pitcher and a basketball official for 26 years.  He played on the 1937 U.P. championship basketball team at Trout Creek High, was awarded the Bronze Star as a medical corpsman in World War II, and returned to sports despite the loss of a leg from his wounds.
