Bill Jennings - Class of 1997

(Negaunee)

an All-State football player at Negaunee (1945), he earned nine letters in three sports and was a two-time All-U.P. football selection.  Jennings became MVP at Northern Michigan College in 1953.  Coached at Negaunee St.  Paul, Newberry and Marquette Bishop Baraga and refereed basketball and sponsored and played fast-pitch softball for many years.
