Cheryl (Dorais) DePuydt - Class of 2012

A member of Michigan Tech University's Sports Hall of Fame, Cheryl (Dorais) DePuydt was the first female coach at Michigan Tech. She was head womens coach in basketball (1975-78). volleyball (1975-80) and cheerleading (1975-2006). She also led formation of the Marquette Figure Skating Club, directed annual ice shows in Marquette and Houghton and taught power skating to numerous Tech hockey players. She died in 2005.
