Clarence Lehr - Classv of 1999

member of Escanaba High School's 1904 state football championship team, he set a U.P. pole vault record and won U.P. titles in the hammer throw and 220 yard hurdles.  After briefly playing football and baseball at the University of Michigan, he was a utility infielder for major league baseball's Philadelphia Phillies in 1910.  He was also commissioner of the Detroit Racing Association.
