spent 25 years officiating as a field judge in the National Football League, working Super Bowl IX between Minnesota and Pittsburgh.He was inducted into the Muskegon Area Hall of Fame in 1994 and became the first official to join the Minor Pro Football League Hall of Fame in 1987.
