Joell (Johnson) Krejcarek - Class of 2012

Growing up before girls sports were part of high school programs, Joell (Johnson) Krejcarek turned to coaching and started the girls' basketball program at Alcona High School in Lincoln, Mich. in 1966. She was head coach until 1997 and compiled a 392-215 record. She was a five-time National Coach of the Year nominee and state coach of the year in 1994. She also started girls softball (1973), track (1968) and volleyball (1990) at Alcona. She also coached Alcona's jayvee and grade 7-9 boys basketball teams.
