the legendary ice hockey coach at Michigan Tech whose teams won 555 games and NCAA championships in 1962, 1965 and 1975.  Named the NCAA Coach of the Year in 1970 and 1976, he received the NHL's Lester Patrick Award for service to hockey in the U.S.  in 1986.
