Kevin Borseth - Class of 2004

Very successful as a women's basketball coach at three colleges, Kevin Borseth was also an outstanding athlete at Bessemer High School, Gogebic Community College and Lake Superior State University.  Borseth was 72-45 as coach at Gogebic (1983-86), 225-97 as coach at Michigan Tech (1987-98) and 137-47 at Wisconsin-Green Bay (1998-2004).  In 2003-2004 he became Horizon League Coach of the Year for the fifth time in his 6 years at UWGB.  He was WBCA Region 6 Coach of the Year In 2002-3 after taking he Phoenix to their third NCAA tournament berth and firstever NCAA victory in a school-record 28-4 season.  He was Division II Great Lakes Regional Coach of the Year at Tech in 1991 and 1995.
