Martin "Mubby" Mahlberg - Class of 1975

football and basketball coach at Stambaugh High 15 years in the 1920s and 1930s whose teams won U.P. cage titles three times and grid titles in 1927 and 1933.  He was also the coach and quarterback of the Stambaugh All-Stars semi-pro football team.
