the leading scorer in the Michigan-Wisconsin- Ontario Hockey League for two seasons and a member of the 1940 U.S.  National Team.  An NMU Sports Hall of Fame inductee where he competed in football and track, and executive director of the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame.
