Rebecca (Drake) Cecconi - Class of 2004

A championship performer in gymnastics, track and golf.   Becky (Drake) Cecconi is regarded as the finest female athlete in Kingsford High School history.   She was a U.P.  all-around champion gymnast in 1979, won 10 U.  P.  Class A-B track titles and set seven records and was a four-time all-state selection.  She was a three-year track letter winner at Central Michigan University, setting a school pentathlon indoor record with 3,549 points, and was a cheerleader for one year.  She is a four-time Upper Peninsula Ladies Golf Association champion and a five-time qualifier for the U.S.  Women's Amateur Publinx tournament.
