Ron "Bud" Cooper Class of 1981

(Sault Ste. Marie)

an all-state gridder at Sault High and a college athlete.  He coached Lake Superior State to 100 basketball wins, was director of athletics, the first president of the Great Lakes Conference (GLIAC), and was president of the U.P. Hall of Fame.  He is a member of the Lake Superior State Hall of Fame.
