Ron Steiner - Class of 1999

regarded as one of the best all-around athletes produced at Iron Mountain High School, he earned 12 varsity letters and was a prep All-American football pick.  He earned three letters in basketball and football at the University of Wisconsin and helped the Badgers win the Big Ten title and a Rose Bowl berth in 1960.  He spent 30 years as a football coach and was WSUC Coach of the Year at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1977.  He also coached baseball at Stevens Point.
