Ronald "Wimpy" Nettell - Class of 2013

A football and track standout at Houghton High School, Ron Nettell played football and hockey at Michigan Tech University before a knee injury ended his career. He averaged a school-record 10.7 yards per carry for 8-0 Tech (1948). Considered by many to be one of the finest athletes from the Copper Country.
