Taffy Abel - Class of 1972

a member of the U.S. ice hockey team in the 1924 Olympic Games and the U.S. flag bearer for the opening ceremonies. He played for the New York Rangers and the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL and on Stanley Cup championship teams in 1928 and 1934.
