Walter "Red" Farrer - Class of 1982

the captain of Negaunee High's unbeaten 1918 football team and the 1919 state runner-up basketball team.  He earned 12 varsity letters at Western Michigan University and is a member of the Michigan Coaches and Michigan Recreation Halls of Fame as a prep coach.
